Core Features

Yuma AI is an ecommerce customer-service automation platform for support, sales, social, and chat. Its agents integrate with commerce and helpdesk systems to handle WISMO, returns, exchanges, cancellations, order changes, subscription questions, refunds, and product questions. Yuma is strongest for brands with enough repeat ticket volume to justify structured implementation, monitoring, and a sales-led performance contract.

  • Ecommerce-trained agents handle support, sales, social, and chat conversations
  • Order context supports WISMO, returns, exchanges, cancellations, modifications, and refunds

  • Brand voice and policy knowledge guide automated responses and decisions
  • Complex or low-confidence cases can remain with human support teams
  • Reporting focuses on automation, accuracy, response time, cost per ticket, and customer outcomes

Best Fit & Use Cases

You are handling recurring pre-sale or post-sale questions. Do not change every step at once: test Ecommerce-trained agents handle support, sales, social, and chat conversations alongside Order context supports WISMO, returns, exchanges, cancellations, modifications,…, then…

Consider it when these outcomes matter: Use Ecommerce-trained agents handle support, sales, social, and chat conversations in this step to reduce manual routing and repeated replies; Order context supports WISMO, returns, exchanges, cancellations, modifications, and refunds; this can keep useful order or customer context available during handling; Integrations connect Shopify data with existing Gorgias or Zendesk operations, helping you start by validating a high-frequency, well-bounded intent.

Confirm before rollout: Uses performance-based custom pricing; ask sales for a written quote based on ticket volume, channels, and automation scope before comparing candidates.

Pricing Analysis

Current published or described options are AI agents: Custom performance-based pricing. This product uses a custom quote: share expected usage, selected modules, channels, and service scope with sales to receive a written price. Prices under different business conditions cannot be compared directly with fixed plans; give each finalist the same volume and scope, then compare total cost and cost per user, order, conversation, or completed execution.

Complete cost also includes agent seats, billable conversations or resolutions, channel add-ons, seasonal overages, onboarding, and quality-review time; model both normal and peak periods. A custom quote should state the billing unit, minimum commitment, overages, add-ons, implementation scope, renewal terms, and data-export path.

Pros

  • Purpose-built ecommerce intent coverage is deeper than a generic knowledge chatbot
  • Works with existing helpdesk operations rather than requiring every team to replace them
  • Can connect answers to order actions instead of stopping at FAQ deflection
  • Best suited to repetitive, measurable support volume where a pilot can establish a clear baseline

Cons

  • Uses performance-based custom pricing; ask sales for a written quote based on ticket volume, channels, and automation scope before comparing candidates
  • Meaningful value requires sufficient ticket volume, clean policies, and connected order data
  • Vendor case-study automation and ROI figures are not independent guarantees
  • Action safety depends on explicit eligibility rules, escalation, monitoring, and auditability

Selection Guidance

Document the current manual process, data sources, owner, and recovery path, then run one channel and two high-volume, low-risk intents with real business data. Cover permission boundaries, null and exception data, duplicate execution, human override, third-party sync delays, export, and rollback.

Also run these product checks: Test one normal case, one edge case, and one case with a deliberately missing critical field.; Compare the result with the pre-test baseline for resolution quality, reopen rate, response time, and customer satisfaction; do not record time saved alone..

Keep the pilot live for a complete business cycle and compare correct-resolution rate, handoff accuracy, reopen rate, CSAT, and total cost per resolved conversation with the pre-pilot baseline.

Contract only if quality, controllable risk, and total cost all pass, and explicitly test these known constraints: Uses performance-based custom pricing; ask sales for a written quote based on ticket volume, channels, and automation scope before comparing candidates; Meaningful value requires sufficient ticket volume, clean policies, and connected order data.

Our biggest concern with AI support was whether it could actually handle WISMO tickets accurately. That's where Yuma has been really impressive. Yuma has helped us automate a large portion of our order status inquiries without sacrificing the customer experience. Their approach is focused and practical. Instead of trying to answer everything, they build for specific use cases, which has led to much higher accuracy than we've seen with other AI tools. The team has also been great to work with. They're responsive, easy to reach, and quick to turn feedback into improvements. We've been able to move fast, test new ideas, and continuously improve the experience for both our customers and support team. Yuma is definitely worth a look.

Thanks to Yuma, we are closing 30% of our tickets without any human interaction, with 70% to 80% of customers satisfied. It also allowed us to create advance auto pilots in order to make automatic changes in Shopify. It is saving us time daily and we are very happy with the results so far.

We've been consistently impressed with Yuma. The danger with using AI for CX is always hallucinations. Their approach of building bots for specific use cases and limiting the amount of knowledge the AI can ingest for any given situation has driven unbelievably high accuracy. Some of our bots are consistently hitting 98% quality, which I've never seen another AI tool deliver. CSAT results are the same as our full team, at 4.7+. Their support team is remarkable. Any and all requests or features we've asked for have been built and set up in weeks. The team is very communicative and very easy to reach via Slack and/or email. They are proactive, often bringing suggestions to our team on how to improve our customer experience. Run, don't walk towards working with them!
